Finished Product

I was very pleased with my finished product. I made sure that the theme was common throughout, with similar colour schemes and styles. The hand drawn style mixed with the pastel colours and decorative typeface, gives the packaging and the badges a slightly girly touch. I used  type contrast to create hierarchy within my header. 

Header and Backboard

Header

I chose two of my hand drawn type faces and adjusted them onto the header template. I then used the Polygonal Lasso Tool to create blocks of colour behind the letters and the details.

Backboard

My backboard was very simple. I created various sized lines, again, using the Polygonal Lasso Tool.

Badge Design - Process

After I had designed my badges, I drew the final components and scanned them into Photoshop. Once in Photoshop I deleted the background and adjusted the threshold levels. 

After this I downloaded the template and started placing my components on the badges. 

Next I coloured the characters with the Polygonal Lasso tool, this created the lose had drawn look.

Scamps

In the scamping process I started designing for a few different themes, until I finalised ideas for one particular topic; Coffee and Cupcakes. I went about designing both the packaging and the badges themselves.

Gathering Ideas

After gathering inspiration online, I finalised a few ideas into a brainstorm. These then allowed me to start designing my badges and packaging.
